Refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling

Eligibility

Fees paid under a signed engagement letter may be refundable in part or in full only as described below and in that letter. Website enquiries themselves carry no charge.

Timeframe

Refund requests should be sent in writing to hello@autodevops.digital within 14 days of the event giving rise to the request (for example, cancellation before fieldwork), unless the engagement letter sets a different window.

Full or partial refunds

• Before fieldwork begins: If you cancel after paying a planning deposit but before we start document review or on-site work, we refund the deposit minus any non-recoverable preparation already performed (scoping calls and entity inventory drafting), documented in writing.
• After fieldwork starts: Fees for time already spent on testing, walkthroughs, and drafting are non-refundable. Unused portions of a cycle fee may be partially refunded at our discretion if work stops early by mutual agreement.
• Remediation retainers: Unused full months paid in advance may be refunded if cancelled before the month begins; the current month is non-refundable once status calls have started.

Non-refundable items

Completed deliverables (issued findings packs, health-check memos, gap memos), travel already incurred with your approval, and third-party costs authorised in writing are non-refundable.

Refund process and timing

Email hello@autodevops.digital with your engagement reference, reason, and payment details used. We confirm eligibility within ten business days. Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method where possible.

Cancellation and rescheduling

Give at least ten business days’ notice to reschedule fieldwork without a rescheduling fee. Shorter notice may incur a fee covering reserved reviewer days. Repeated no-shows for agreed on-site days may be treated as cancellation of those days without refund of the related portion.

Deposits

Planning deposits secure the review window. They are applied to the final invoice. Treatment on cancellation follows the rules above.

Work already started and materials

Where we have begun reviewing your evidence packs or drafting findings, that effort is billable. We do not sell physical goods; there are no shipped products to return.

Exceptions

If AutoDevOps cancels an engagement for reasons within our control (other than force majeure), you receive a full refund of amounts paid for undelivered work. Statutory rights that cannot be waived under Taiwan law remain available.
